Latest discoveries in the science world this would open the way towards a broader understanding of the knowledge about the solar system. Scientists just discovered a first rocky planets outside Earth's solar system.
This is the first discovery of the existence of rocky planets outside our solar system.
Planet called COROT-7b was first known existence COROT satellite, a telescope measuring 30 centimeters, which was launched by the European Space Agency in early 2008. This COROT mission was devoted to looking for rocky planets outside our solar system.
But it took one month of observation to determine that the planet has a composition similar to Earth.
Physical characteristics of this planet is very different from other planets like Jupiter and Saturn full of gas. The composition of the planet is probably similar to Earth, but the environmental area is more visible planets like hell.
It is estimated that there temperature temperature range from 3600 degrees Fahrenheit above or equal to 2000 degrees Celsius during the day. Meanwhile, if the night falls, the temperature at -328 degrees Fahrenheit or -200 degrees Celsius.
One side of the planet's body parts are always facing the sun while the other side tend to stay away from the sun. Side facing the sun may seem to melt while the other side could be contained ice from the frozen water on the planet if there is water.
The fact that COROT-7b relatively close to Earth with a distance of approximately 500 light-years away in the star map monoceros, Unicorn. COROT-7b was then known as the smallest planets ever found outside the solar system Earth.
